3 guys walk into a hotel and ask for a room, they are told by the concierge tells them that there is only 1 room available and its $30 / night. They decide to take it. So each guy pays $10. A little later the concierge realizes he made an error and that the room actually cost $25. He gives the bell hop $5 to give to the guys. On the way to their room the bellhop pockets $2 and gives $1 to each of the 3 guys. So each of the guy ended up paying $9. Now here is where it gets weird 9 * 3 is 27 + $2 the bellhop stole = $29. What happened to the extra dollar?.

Well I enjoy the brain teaser, I feel stupid but I can’t make sense of it. Maybe it’s too late at night, I’ve been trying to fix microstation code all day. I like how you started your blog because of flock. I also work in the tech field (Well does Civil Engineering count?), but I doubt my posts will cover any of that. I am just going to write about what I am thinking, which tends to be pretty shallow outside of work because that pretty much takes up all of my brainpower. Thanks for your interesting blogs.
Well at least someone finds my blog semi interesting, my girlfriend finds my blog anything but interesting. according to her its too “techie”. i dont think this is going to be an all techie blog.. im gonna kept it pretty general with bits and pieces of tech and non-tech stuff.. so stay tuned.
That still boggles my mind. Like I think I might have figured it out but I dunno. It’s crazy. Anyway…. I just can’t believe your girlfriend would find your blogs anything but interesting. lol I find that comment somewhat interesting. So yea… keep up the good blogging.

$30.00 was paid for the room….5 dollars refunded = $25.00
1.The hotel got $25.
2. Each man received a $1 refund which = $3.00, so the total money is now $28.00
3. and, the bellhop got $2.00
This all adds up to $30.00.
